The limit is intended to keep the engine from achieving the set RPM so falling 5 to 20 RPM short of the set amount is normal and CORRECT.

However, we have found that a percentage of REV box controls will “chip out” earlier than the set amount by as much as 100 RPM hindering the competitor in performance.

It is also common knowledge that these boxes can be modified to achieve more than the set amount to enhance the performance beyond the rules.

Both of these scenarios can be checked at our facility and the box can usually be back on it’s way to you the next day.

The cost is $50 per box and includes UPS ground shipment back to you.
