FASTRAK racer,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for participating with FASTRAK. We have had some ups and downs this year and some controversy but I believe we have all learned from any mistakes that were made and we plan to expand on the positives that were accomplished in 2009.
With the internal engine disqualifications this year I am sure that anyone with a rebuilt engine or anyone thinking of having their engine rebuilt will have some concerns and questions.
Let me start by assuring anyone who has a rebuilt engine from Race-1 YOU ARE COMPLETEY LEGAL!
Race-1 has and is staying on top of all updates from GM and FASTRAK. We also have a very good relationship with many of the top engine builders and engine tuners in the country. This is an effort to keep our customers ahead of the competition with LEGAL horsepower.
Let me be perfectly clear about our machine work intentions. We will never take any dimension to the absolute min. or max. . We always leave room for error, stretch and wear. If you want the absolutes we are not the engine builder for you.
To assure all customers from this day forward that will receive a FASTRAK legal crate engine from Race-1 we have decided to set a precedent among engine builders. Every rebuilt engine will have a notarized legal document that will stand up in any court,making Race 1 — 100% responsible for the internal legality of the engine.
We currently have (1) 604 that will be available to our customers that experience a protest or engine problems, a second loaner motor is planned as our business is growing and we will do our absolute best to make sure you are able to race each and every week.
